Laboratory Services

St. Mary’s Hospital laboratory is a specialized service, which provides testing 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, to assure that patients’ results are available as rapidly as possible. The lab is accredited by the College of American Pathologists and the Joint Commission for the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and is affiliated with St. John’s Hospital and Mayo Medical Laboratories.

St. Mary’s Hospital laboratory is open for outpatient services from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Saturday the laboratory is open from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. After hours, specimens are collected in the emergency department. The laboratory is conveniently located on the 1st floor of the hospital.

The St. Mary’s Hospital laboratory is accredited by the College of American Pathologists and the Joint Commission for Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. The laboratory is associated with Mayo Medical Laboratories and St. John's Hospital.

The laboratory performs testing 24 hours per day, 7 days per week to assure that your test results will be available in a timely fashion. Most tests which your Doctor orders will be performed on site at St. Mary's laboratory. Occasional tests will be referred to Mayo Medical Center or St. John's Hospital.
