Take a walk through the typical places you will see when having surgery at St. Mary’s.
St. Mary’s has eight surgical suites including three equipped with state-of-the-art technology for minimally invasive surgical procedures.
After your surgery is completed, you will be brought to our recovery area where a high ratio of nurses to patients allows us to provide you with quick and attentive care as you awaken from anesthesia. Many procedures are performed on an outpatient basis allowing you to return home after your visit to the recovery area. If you need to stay overnight for additional care, you will be brought to your private hospital room which includes calm furnishings and cable TV.
Family members are made comfortable in a private surgical waiting room where we offer light refreshments, cable television and magazines. The surgical team will keep your loved ones informed during this time. There is an additional privacy room where your surgeon can meet with your family members after your surgery is finished.
